Today is my Birthday as a Deviant. I created this account 6 years ago to browse art, I’m a picture lover, an art collectionneur. One year ago I decided I was ready for the jump. So I submitted my first deviation. Since then I did not stop posting my daily trainning. Your feedback help me as an artist; receving comments and critiques knowing what people like or not. Trying to understand why? What should I do to become better?
You, visitors, deviants, watchers are making me a better artist. You made this place my home everyday.

Its my first year here PART of DA. I’m happy and proud to be part of this community. Spyed often says DA is about sharing the love, its true. This place is about sharing together our love for Art.

Deviant Art is for us, art lovers, a great source of inspiration. There was no day without deep browsing on this website... is there an end? Its really a giant gallery to get inspiration. This place made follow GREAT artists this year like:

Aurie the Pixie Definitly the one who inspired me the most this year. She has got a rendering of her own.

I define myself more like a dark artist so here are the one I followed and LOVE
Silent Order , Lady Dementia and her beautiful eteral white world, Nathalie Shau (even if she left for myspace), Bitch in Black for who I did a tribute and I ll be happy to make a collab with. Lady Symphonia a master for matte paintings.

Speaking about matte paintings I was pleased to know one of the greatest matte painter of our time is here on deviant, Dylan Cole .

Photographers I like to follow because they are good, because they have very different style, I’m not especially in.
The incredibly talented Jose Manchado, All your base are belong to us ! Hakkan , a retro rendering but yet modern way of seeing things. I like his eye ! Very inspirational artist like with his distinctive colors and use of camera for creating Weird and very creative pictures... he is like “laying” with his camera, , a master for lanscapes

Nikos Alpha is a bit special for me because he is a photographer and... a great CG artist with incredible retouching skills. Photoshop is not a dirty word. and for me.. he is the way to go. I need to catch his skills ! Hard training I know ^^

Of course GREAT ladies like Ze Emotion and Lara Fairie, both so talented that I dont know how they went there ! Even if I’m not into fashion photography for now, I can’t stop but watching their art. Its breath taking.

Despite I’m a CG Artist and a photographer, my favorite form of art is painting and illustration and of course matte paintings.

The artist I like the most is from Japan, jsut my age, Ryohei Haze , so young so talented ! I lik his way of seeing things.
Nikolai Aleksanders specialised in digital portrait painting as a portrait photographer I could not miss him!
Diane Ozdamar (who replied once ^^cheers!), Can’t believe it she is a goddess to me like Bitch in black, Nathalie Shau and Lady Dementia

I’m sure I’m forgetting a lot of people. Too much of an Art lover I’m . I hope next year will be even better than this one. Definitly happy to be part of it. Thanks again to everyone, I dont take it for granted. Deviant Art definitly changed me. I’m getting contact with artists I like and some “maybe” business contact. This artist life is taking more and more space in my life, I feel great with that. Never be ashame of what you like, what you are good at, what you LOVE ! For me its Deviant Art’s message.

Next year is starting now with some great projects to come I hope I will show everyone in a few weeks ^^
