FIRST STEP GET INSPIRED

I'm an art lover, a nice pictures collectionneur. Back in 1995 with my first internet connection I started searching for good pics, the very first week. That same year I discovered "paint" (don t laugh) and started editing
In 1999 I took photoshop and took it seriously. Still searching for good pictures to watch I discovered Deviant Art at its very begining in 2002 I created my account. Maybe I posted a picture it was terrible, my art was terrible, my english was terrible and I was SO impressed by Art on this website I could not post. I deleted this unique deviation anyway... 6 years later.

Something changed already. I was so impressed about art on the site I was like "if they can do it, I can do it". So I trainned, trainned, trainned EVERYDAY and I became a CG Artist. It was not my official "job" but I took it very seriously and it changed things into my working life. More on that later. This website fuelled me.

Thats right I did not post anything. I was browsing and browsing and browsing maybe I have 2 Gigs of pictures from that 6 years of time. I was trainning, trainning, trainning. Art is a craft you really need to love more than the result.

Too my people I like here:
There is NO way I can thak yhem all ^^really too many talented persons here, so I will jsut name a few because I think their art changed me, inspired me maybe more. I m feeling its unfair to jsut name a few because Deviant IS A COMMUNITY of artists first before beeing an art platform

I cannot say how much her art changed the way I work with color.

Im very pleased that one of my favorite model I introduced to deviant art was interviewed here and will soon work with a photographer: I think is my master ^^ I mean for me he is the way to go ^^

SECOND STEP DO IT YOURSELF

I started photography for fun in 2007. Back in 2008 I decided to give it a second chance and I posted here everything I did or almost. I encourage evey deviants to do it to improve because it works. On this website feedback is valuable. people are not your firends, they are art lovers from every where most of them know what they are talking about because they saw lots of art, because they are artists themselves

There is something unique about this website you cannot find anywhere: myspace, flickr come one (not starting a rage) "give me a a comment I give you one back" what kind of feedback is that? how valuable ?

I always showed to my bosses some of my works and the last one let me use my CG skills at work. That was never the plan. It happend. Now its part of me, I cannot stop it.

I m now working in a company as a marketing manager AND an art director. Deviant Art pushed me to train hard. So I made this passion most of my daily job. This is a concrete way how Deviant Art changed my life. And there is more !

Because it pushed me try photography I am sometime the official photographer at the office ^^. Photography is the best thing that happend to me. I traveled, met tons of people and my girlfriend ^^

My account reached 100 000 unique views in 2 years and more important lots of watcher I can talk to. Views are just a number but feedback helped me as an artist. It pushed me to do better. I cannot say thank you enough.

Speaking about my watchers I would like to thanks them more than anything ! without their support I may have stop a long time ago
